Your probably wondering who the Life-Light Players are anyway right??
Our theme verse can be found in Matt. 5:16"Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven." Our mission statement goes on to say, "The Life-Light Players is an organization committed to the education and fulfillment of the purposes of the Christian artist.  As Christians, we are called to be the light of the World.  So let us function within faith to produce quality works in order to illustrate and effectively spread God's love through theater.
In addition, it is our belief that "Anything worth doing is worth doing well... But anything worth doing in the name of JESUS CHRIST is worthy of our very BEST.

The Life-Light Players are a ministry of First Baptist Church, Odessa, Texas.  Auditions, Performances and Rehearsals are all currently held in the fellowship hall located in the basement of the Church.
 
Currently we are seeking out volunteers willing to serve on a board to help with the planning, management, and operation of the organization.
 
Volunteering his time, Tony Prather currently serves under the authority of Jeff Wash as the Director of the Life-Light Players.  He has organized the Life-Light Players performance of five plays over the past two years.

A touching story of a young girl developing a relationship with her stepmother"
 
"Legacy of Harmony" -- by Tony Prather
A widow with a hardened heart is deeply moved by the testimonies of an ex-gang member and her "officious" grandaughter.
