Mr. Prather is a first
year Drama Teacher at Milam Magnet Elementary. “Indigenous” to the
stage, Mr. P (as he is well known throughout his campus) has served in multiple capacities of theater over the last decade. He attended Howard Payne University and in 2005, received his Bachelors degree in Communication, with a minor in
Music, from UT Permian Basin. Some of his acting credits include Carlino in Wait Until Dark, Laurie in Little Women,
Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Hoel in Thor with Angels. Some of Mr. Prather’s directing credits include
It’s Not Too Late, The World According to Shel Silverstein, Step on a Crack, Fractured Fairy Tales and his own original script Legacy
of Harmony. Mr. Prather brings an excess of technical theater experience
with him as he has served all capacities of the technical side of theater for far too many shows to mention. In addition, he voluntarily assisted in shows this summer with Ector Theatricals as well as founded the
Life-Light Players. Mr. Prather has aspirations of one day working and living in the Big Apple. He hopes
to use his proficiency in theater to spread God's love. Tony would like to express his extreme gratitude and thanks to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
for the incredible opportunities and talents he has intrusted to him. True inspirations in his life who have
cultivated his character are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley R. Prather, grandmother, Vera E. Johnston, Dr. Brooks Barr,
Dr. Nancy Joe Humfeld, Dr. Lee McGavin, Heather Francell, Dana Ritter, his best friend (and ambassador of sanity) Jamie Leigh
Myers and the WTT. Thanks to all of you, I am who I am!
